Empty commercial premises: Who owns or is the current tenant

Hi Guys and gals

How would i go about finding out who owns or is the current tenant of empty commercial properties that i see around town, but can not find listed with estate agents etc.

There are around 5 here in Pori, that might fit in with my own business ideas.

Hi there

there isn't an accurate method, but I would believe that searching for the address in Google and in Fonecta.fi, plus doing a few related searches in the Finnish Business Information System (http://www.ytj.fi/english/yrityshaku.as ... elikoodi=3) will help you in finding what you're looking for.

In the worst case, you might want to try and contact the organisation that manages the building where the commercial premise is located.

What i have discovered about Finnish business is that most things are transparent and the information you are looking for will probably be available somewhere,try ringing up a legitimate council or local area administrator and use basic language like" I am looking for the administration office that oversees building ownership and leasing information",quite often you can throw this thing together like a jigsaw puzzle!
