Show me example of spouse permits what doesnt allow working.
Im under impression that willing to work is, if not mandatory, strongly adviced and assumed as norm.

I know that student permits have limited rights to work and "refugee" have limited on start but others i dont know.

I noticed that migri requires it to be legalized --- "it is important that the officiating party is entitled to marry couples under the legislation of the country where the marriage has taken place". At the moment, we have the original marriage certificate and the English translation by a translation company. We applied for our UK residence permit using these documents. Do you think it would be also sufficient for Finnish RP?
If you want to get your permit approved, and approved as quickly as possible (and the two permits at the same time) it seems dumb to start thinking which corners you might be able to cut- especially if this based on what somebody might tell you on a internet message board while contradicting the advice given by the authority making those decisions. Legalization is supposed to give the Finnish authorities a direct proof that the document submitted to them actually is what it claims it is.
Hi flowert2ee,

I did legalization for two document

1. Marriage Certificate
2. Child's Birth Certificate

you need to do this legalization in where the certificates are issued, in my case these certificates are issued in my home country where the process for getting the approval is 1. Get the state govt approval 2. Get the Ministry of External afire's approval (In my country they will put the Apostille sticker kind of thing in each certificate). For you the local process may differ, check whether you need the apostle or not from migri page and your home country issuing authorities..

you will have to find those details out on your own.
Look i dont understand many details about this but only what my wife was told..

In which case i think it makes a difference to your application if your intent is to come in and work,If anyone has some facts about this, please bring out the ruler.
