You will not be discriminated in Finland because you speak English, and certainly not due to any reason of "the language is like a steam engine putting along".
The context i am talking about is that -
Presuming that because fins speak English , a foreigner coming here and saying he speaks english and Fins speak english , so lets speak english and forget the about swamp language will result in some of the information in my prior posts.
So the countless scores of midle aged estonian workers who speak russian and estonian are worthless? yes you are right because fins dont like that attitude of coming into fin and not giving, just taking? correct?You may be discriminated against because you don't speak Finnish (or Swedish). You may be discriminated against because you are a foreigner. But you will not be discriminated against (as the sole reason) because you speak English. Not speaking Finnish, Swedish, or English will mean that in the Finnish eyes you are pretty much worthless until you do learn some language that Finns will understand.
Well guess what, the estonians do it , the russians do it and ofcourse the english speakers do it the most!!!. Do you presume that the fins are stupid and blind to the fact the russians do it, or the estonians?Why presume then that they dont feel like the english speakers do it?
So your premise is incorrect as actual measurable facts prove!
A tardy attempt to prove something doesnt exist, that does for a number of languages and peoples that enter the EU!And you might also look up what racial/ethnic discrimination is. Just being a foreigner doesn't make discrimination ethnic discrimination unless it is discrimination due to whatever ethnicity you are. Yes, there is ethnic discrimination in Finland, but speaking English would not be one of them.
How did you make the leap to those subjects? I don't have much to do with any of them.
