I do, thank you very much.
The old wives' tale about coffee stunting your growth is just that, an old wives' tale. I was short
before I started drinking massive amounts of coffee.

Someday Paulig Presidentti will only be available in tiny blister packs through pharmacies for 30 euros a pop.

I've drank enough coffee to need Rennies. I toned down the intake to a level that my stomach could handle. Are Tums really that good that you have to eat them even when you don't need one? Coffee is

Pregnant women can live on Rennies..... So yes, there are those out there that pop them like a billion a day. Ask any pregnant woman with acid reflux. They'll probably kick your arse if you tell them it can't be that bad. Bloody hell, can it be bad. I was eating loads and loads all through my pregnancy. I am sure I kept at least one employee employed at the apteekki with my use for all those months.

Stirred into a glass of water before drinking, a spoonful of sodium bicarbonate, commonly known as baking powder, relieves stomach acid pain. However, it does contain sodium, and so do not consume too much of it.
But the best solution is to not consume any acid-inducing drinks/foods, at all.

Was Rennie one you could eat while pregnant? I recall missus chasing proper antacid as if her life depended on it. I think many had "do not use if pregnant"-marking in them. Possibly because of how the stuff worked, she was given something which created protective foam instead of neutralizing the acid.
My wild guess is that when kid replaces the stomach, unless you dilute your gastric acids to water it is not going to help(which in turn is really bad for your health).
So instead you get something that keeps acid from getting in touch with throat. She really hated that stuff... I recall her mentioning how vile it was to swallow.
