DNA A BIG NIGHTMARE

Hello Everyone

I took a DNA contract phone in March 2010.Unfortunately I lost the phone within a period of 5 months. :( The contract was supposed to end on March 2012.The problem is that DNA have never sent any invoice to me,instead I recieve the invoices from Intrum Justitia. In April last year I recieved an invoice of 88.52 euros, and in September I recieved an invoice of 96.69 euros. Both were from Intrum justitia.

I called the DNA customer service and they said they had earlier sent the bill plus reminder, but honestly I have never recieved any invoice from them, and he also informed me that the invoive of 96.69 euros was the only outstaing bill and that I will never recieve any more invoices because the contract has now ended......I was so happy to hear that but to my shock I recieved another invoice from Intrum Justitia of 71.00 euros!!!!

I called Intrum but they said they have to contact DNA to see if the bill is still outstanding,,,,,but I decided to cal DNA and enquire. The lady I spoke to said that I have not paid the bill.I told her that I never recieved any invoice from them but she still insisted that they have been sending them to my address!!!!

Is there anyone out there who has been facing the same problem???Or does DNA just direct bills to intrum then lie that they have been sending the invoice???An invoice of 26éuros now 71 euros???

It seems a matter of "he said, she said". And nobody can prove who is right.
If you haven't paid DNA they have a legitimate claim which they will collect.

Intrum Justitia is a tough cookie to deal with. They took over the claim from DNA and they will go rather far to collect.
Better pay now before they take other measures and you have to pay for a lot of extra costs.

Can´t help you, sorry. Just wondering, did you not wonder why you weren´t getting any invoices? Was DNA maybe sending them to your email instead or something (at least Saunalahti sends only email invoices by default)?

letters/mails get lost, misplaced.. i have seen few cases during student years. just recently i was forced to pay 5 euros more just because i didn't get the bill.. now how the bill didn't end up in my postbox, don't know but I have used netposti ever since. I recommend that to everyone.

ps. netposti mainos is being delivered to every household today, it seems

At least Saunalahti makes it possible to change the paper bills — which have an additional surcharge attached to them, anyway — to email bills: they send the payment details in plain text, along with a printable PDF bill, to the email address of your choice.

You can also view any outstanding and previously paid bills in their web-based self-service portal (oma.saunalahti.fi) and pay them directly in there. Then there are various other options, such as getting an e-bill to your bank, or signing a contract about a direct charge from your bank account and whatnot. You can also get preemptive notifications about new bills via SMS and they will send a notification SMS in any case if a bill is overdue.

I would image DNA has similar billing options available to their customers in their “Minun palveluni” self-service portal.

well, i also have had the same experience once 3 years ago. I didnt get the bill from DNA and some day i got bill with around 50 euro extra + actual bill. There was no way for me to change the situation so I just paid the whole thing with angry feeling :(. After that, I started using e-invoice and no more problem :)
