IT entrance examination 2013

I just took yesterday IT entrance test, and I must say I was quite surprised with some of the questions. Even though I had practiced with some of the previous years exams. This one was quite hard in some parts.
However, here in Czech republic there wasn't anyone else for IT, there was mostly people for some business careers and also some other engineerings.

Has anyone else taken the test? What's your opinon?

I'm taking my Business IT exam on Wednesday next week, which of the Universities have you applied to?

Also, what kind of questions can we expect? How is the lay out of the exam, any multiple choice questions at all?

I'm taking my Business IT exam on Wednesday next week, which of the Universities have you applied to?

I've applied to: Oulu, Mikkeli, Turku and Vaasa (in that order). All of them for IT.

Where are you from?

@chilly2908 Thanks for the heads up. Am taking the same exam on the 16th for civil engineering so anything you remember will help a lot!
Any specific questions about math and physics? for example, did the questions include finding area or length in geometry, circuit or motion in the physics question?
Do you remember anything from the motivation questions.

I've also applied for Oulu UAS as my first choice, just in both Business IT & International Business. The Business IT itself doesn't have an interview section (according to structure on the UAS websites), but you are probably right that the exams are going to be completely different.

I'm from England and will take my exams in a few days!

Btw does anybody know about Oulu statistics in lowest acceptance scores from some previous years?
I've been trying to check it out,, but so far nothing. I've found results for some other UAS but not this one.

Hey urz, I am from London, I am going to sit for B.I.T as well, I am kind of stuck in math part(geometry), Would you mind to help me out because it's been 10 years since I left math.

I agree with you chilly. Although I practiced previous exams, that one a little bit harder. But not that very much, If I'm not wrong, maybe we can think like this.
If you have checked the lowest admittance points before. Some of them were the limit (30/100) and the others are not much high. Scaling is 10.3= 30 points max this refers 100 points. To get 30/100 means -> 10/30 .. If you can write the basic equations and solved something, at least you get 1 point from each. 10.1=10 !
And of course, you solved some questions right or you ll get 2 points. Then you will pass the 10 points limit. Im talking according to 2012 scores for 2013 , if same patterns for this year.

Only my idea, Im open for judgements. =)

There isnt IT degree. But if we check for the results year by year. There is no big change for other engineering departments.

I solved most problems. I just got a Huge mistake in one exercise and one part of another exercise I couldn't solve. So I don't know, I guess I did ok, but I almost forgot about the English test. I did the whole English test in my last 15 min. I hope it was enough to pass it.

You're right about very low admittance points for engineering. So If one solved a bit more than 50% of the test, one should be in at least in 1 of the 4 options. I just really hope to get into my 1st choice.
What about you? Which are your choices and where are you from?

my first option is Ramk then Oamk. It seems we are not the biggest rival because of our prefrence orders are diferent , at least 1st is different. I hope we can get in

anyone for civil engineering ? i gave entrance for metropolia which was not tough to pass. Now, for Hamk in construction and am not sure about the question pattern. This would be different and a little bit tough. If anyone wants to share anything mail me on adhikari_sriram@yahoo.com. Gud luck

how is it 100 marks in total I counted it to be 75 only, 30 in maths,physics and logical deduction and 45 in english where does the other 25 marks come from?
