Hello Finland Forum Members,
My name is Jesse and I moved to Helsinki, from America in January.
I am currently looking for any type of job, until I can learn finnish well enough to find work in what I want to do.
I married my long-term Finnish sweetheart and decided to start our new life, in her hometown Helsinki.

I am a college graduate, managed a bar, restored Automobiles/motorcycles and started two of my own businesses, all in America.
I am very versatile, strong and fit, strive to do my best at what I do everyday, and open to any job.

If anyone has any suggestions or knows of any positions that I could start work at, please message me, or post a reply. much appreciated and thank you for your time.

Also, Can anyone give me a couple names of factories in helsinki that I could send my CV to. A list of factories would be even better. Something; where you just have to put items together down an assembly line. soldering, computers, metalwork, food, furniture, ect.

But as I said above, any places anyone knows of would be helpful.

Those type of low pay process worker jobs are being filled by the minion of mol.fi unemployed.

The least of your troubles i think is using google translator to find some factories to visit that may look at you like a special-case with baggage.

Thanks for your replies.
I am studying finnish as we speak, but yes, I feel completely out of my element here. I did not expect finding a job would be so difficult.
I know through perseverance I can accomplish anything. I just have to remind myself I am not in America anymore.

It is also hard to practice my finnish because everyone I speak to knows english and they seem to like speaking english over finnish. haha. Lucky me.

Analyze what your good at, what your better at than most people .

Categorize niche jobs that use your special talent that specifically makes money.(dont worry about this Finnish language junk, or masters degrees)(master at what ,speaking crap?), nope master at making money!
Translate that category into Finnish and present it like your selling yourself , your a money maker.
This is how the big money immigrants roll here.
