Strange magazines and bills

Post by Mr G. » Fri May 10, 2013 12:27 pm

From past few weeks strange weekly magazines with bills are delivered to my doorstep. They are in finnish and are delivered in my name. I never ordered them. I do not understand finnish language. Am i obliged to pay those bills? I do not understand how those magazines are coming in my name. The amount in the bill is getting piled up with every new delivery. Can you help me?

Call them and inform that you haven't ordered anything.

I did that through their website about a week ago but have not heard from them.

You emailed them? You did not feel like calling them?

What is the name of the company? Quite sure you have not participated in any lottery or anything where you might accidentally subscribe to some magazine?

I agree with those who say call, rather than using their website. I totally understand that you don't speak Finnish, but the only way you're likely to get an answer is if you call.

If there were any response from them, that contact through website should be enough. But usually you don't get any, so it is better to email or call.

you really made me think because i did take part in some surveys to download some files from the internet a month ago and i think that is the reason now i feel so stupid. the name is aller . And yes I will give them a call as well.
I wish i did not have to pay for those magazines. Also i did unsubscribe for those magazines from their website.

I think you might have to pay some of the bills. If you filled out surveys and you said your Finnish isn't any good. You may have clicked to order the stuff.

For future reference: you have 14 days to back off from distance sales deal, be it online or mail or internet.

Well, if he's getting monthly magazines with bills which keep going up, it's obviously been more than 14 days LOL.

But thank you for that information. Very handy to know!
