Hello everyone, any restaurant connoisseurs out there?
I have to arrange a meal for 15 people and I am struggling to find a place
that is not going to cost a fortune (once you add in wine etc). I am hoping for
- A set menu or group menu whatever they are called: (Starter/Main/Dessert)
- Maximum approx €32/person but prefereably lower
- Central Helsinki, lets say preferably 15 minutes walk from Kamppi
but definitely not further than Pasila.
-A certain level of formality is expected (unfortunately)
so it has to be a proper restaurant not just a big cafe type place,
and I guess it means I can't choose one of the many great Nepalese
restaurants here. At least at all of the awful fancy events that I have been
to in the past the food has always been on the "safe" European side anyway.
Am I being too optimistic?
-Somewhere interesting would be a bonus but there are already
so many other constraints I won't hold my breath!
As an aside I have already been looking for quite a while
On eat.fi

people claim (according to google translate) that they have had a three
course meal for €16 euros, surely impossible?

I don't have any suggestions, but
Yeah, at least the price in the first comment is way off. Looking at the current menu, his food would've cost about 50 euros.HT&S wrote:As an aside I have already been looking for quite a while

Midday or evening?
It can be quite pricey eating à la carte in the evening. But even some of the classiest restaurants have a reasonable midday all-inclusive menu (and I'm not talking about self-servce buffets).
