Hi
I'm taking the kids to Vermo and whilst we will be the typical €1 a race punter, I was wondering whether there is somewhere that provides a little bit of information on the horses' form? On the only time I visited before, I bought the race card, but that really didn't give that relevant form.
Do for instance any of the red tops provide some information? For those with UK / Swedish experience, I just want the same as you would see in say a Daily Telegraph or Aftonbladet, rather than a Racing post.
Cheers
Liam

There is at least this one: http://www.iltasanomat.fi/urheilusanomat/
You need to be a subscriber to it to see the online tips. Check also out the sports pages in the newspaper, and sports news on tv. For instance here: http://yle.fi/urheilu/ravit/
(Disclaimer: I don't follow horse races or any other sports betting in any way, so I don't know if those are any good or not.)

Thanks - I don't have a clue either, but it saves the mad rush last time of waiting until the odds were posted 10 min before each race to see who the genuine contenders are!

If you go to the R-kiosk they sell something like V5 magazine or something like hevosurheilu... toto... anyways trotters on the cover. Or if theres any punters doing betting (seen some kiosks resemble a paddy power shop) then ask them

"By the pricking of my thumbs,
Something wicked this way comes."
