Hello! I met a group of girls from Russia and Ukraine. They have undergone some rights violations (but that is not the subject to discuss in this topic).
They were fired after 11 days of work, even though they promised to get job for at least 2 months. A lot of them have paid a lot of money to come to Finalnd, and they did not even cover the expenses for the ticket back home to Russia. Their trip was just a huge loss of money.
In this topis I would like to ask, if anyone knows if there is any possibility for them to find new jobs (maybe some farmers/companies are in need). And maybe someone knows how to find new jobs.... should they go to the employement office? Or contact some other services?

They can go to an other berry farm.
Otherwise they are not allowed to work in any other job without a valid residence permit (= not a visa!)
And I doubt if any employer would take the risk to hire them (fines are steep for having illegal laborers)

If you are in the least bit entrepreneurial, go pick blueberries/others and sell them at the market. A friend of mine does this quite successfully.
But what shall it profit a people if they satisfy all material desires, but leave for their children nothing, only a wasteland.
