Need Urgent Help- Student RP Application

Hello!
I applied for the student residence permit on 8th may 2013. Upon my arrival I was given a questioner from the officer. It had questions regarding my career plans, my documents, and financial matters. After 15 minuets I was asked to return the questioner, which still had a few questions unanswered, back to the officer.
Just to make sure, I want to ask weather that questioner will have any affect on the decision? I told that I could not fill it completely and now I am really concerned about it.
By the way my application is still in the queue to be processed.

Well, why do you think they had you fill it out?

Of course they use it to aid in making their decision.

I find it strange they said you couldn't finish filling it out. But I am sure they have their reasons why. Probably they are inundated with applications for schools now and they just don't have time with people who fill the forms out with their whole life stories, or something. Who knows.

Well, it's up to them now... So you just wait. Don't bother contacting them constantly because that will only p*ss them off and you could be put back further in the queue.

I don't know what to say. The officer said I had 30 minuets to complete the questioner, but took it back from me in 15 min. She said it was not that important to complete. In your opinion it is a very important part of the application.
I am still skeptic...don't know who is right.
So maybe I have no other option but to wait for the decision.

Put your thinking cap on..... Why would they have you fill out a form if there was no reason for it? Huh???

I didn't say they base the decision to give you the permit to come here or not. I said 'aid'. Because I bet it does help aid them in making their decision.

The woman who took the paper was probably busy and didn't really care. She's a government worker, she'll get paid either way. She doesn't care.

I didn't even say I don't believe you. There is no reason not to believe you. Offcourse they require this forum to "aid" in decision making.
What I wanted to know was how much impact will this questioner carry and it just got into my knowledge today that it is fine if all your documents are complete and real. So I guess I don't have to worry that much

No one but the person who is working on your application can answer the question you want answered. No one here could possibly answer it.

And no, it doesn't mean all is fine if you got all your documents in. There are plenty of people denied every year for mundane reasons. Or if the person doing the application smells something fishy etc.

OK lets see what happens, I just need to wait for 1 month and whatever decision I get I will post it here.

I just received the residence permit approval last week ( and the RP itself will take some time to arrive).
