Hello,
I think many of you went several times in this route by car. However I dont have experience to continuously drive such long distance. As there will be a child of 6 months old, do you think it would be wise decision to travel by car for around 6 hours in this route? Please suggest.

Leave early enough and stop a few times along the way. Should be fine. There are plenty of ABC's, etc to stop and use the restroom and stretch your legs.

Why not?
A 6 month old child is much easier to handle than a 2 year old on such a long trip. A 6 month old may well sleep most the way.
In this culture of needing to stop to drink coffee and eat while driving.... There are plenty of places on the way you can stop and take care of your child and yourself.
It'll be easy to do this trip. Just do it
