Who to contact about maintenance issues

Hi, I am living abroad and need to reevaluate my maintenance. I need to try and establish contact with an organization or the department that handles these issues. When my maintenance is nwithheld, who do I notify.

I live in South Africa and my ex in helsinki.We are divorsed under Finish Law and a maintenance sum is on the contract I need to update this

Any suggestions, please

I have trouble understanding what exactly you want. To change the contract you would first contact your ex. If you need to collect money, then lodging a claim to the district court of your ex is probably the right way to go. The unofficial translation of the Marriage Act can be found here:

For collecting actually since you already confirmed contract it could probably go directly to the National Administrative Office for Enforcement.

Under Finnish law extremely rarely and even then for limited time. If the OP is really getting money for herself (and not for the kids) the ex is likely already more generous than law here would require.

Correct, an error in the grammar. Maintenance we agreed for the childrens expenses. I do not get maintenance for myself.
