We bought sofa from Asko last week and it was delivered on Tuesday. The problem is when Kovalainen driver took the sofa with the help of my husband (we thought there will be 2 guys from Kovalainen, but there was only the driver. That's why my husband help him), the sofa's leather was broken and there were scratches on some parts of the sofa. We called to Asko but they said we should call Kovalainen. We called to Kovalainen and they said they will take it back to Asko. After the driver took the sofa back, we called to Asko again. This time they said that in that case there is delivery insurance which they will order new sofa for us and we shouldn't be worried about the cost because Kovalainen will pay or something like that. They promised they will call again after they get the sofa.
Today Asko called and said that Asko and Kovalainen don't want to pay anything. What should we do in this case?
For your information, on Sunday we called to Asko. This was the first time we bought sofa in Finland so we don't know what to expect. We asked whether there will be problem during delivery or not. They said there shouldn't be any problem because they will wrap the sofa. But when we saw how the sofa was wrapped, it was like a joke. Basically they wrapped it with plastic like we usually used to wrap left over food and they didn't wrap it all. For example they didn't wrap the leg and two legs have scratches. We covered the wall with old T-shirts, but I don't know somehow the sofa is still broken. Another thing that we want to know that, we bought it with Osuuspankki credit card. We checked on their website which it was said there is ostoturva.
