Hello,
I ordered a printed poster from US and now I got a letter from itella/posti about customs clearance.
I'd like to use the 'nettitullaus' service but I was not able to find the right category for posters. I haven't found any 'julisteet' listed in the more obvious groups I checked from.
Does anybody know what is right category or to what definition do posters belong? books?? art??
TIA

Re: Nettitullaus category
Could be under art... is there a list somewhere out there with the categories? I just remember the ladies at Tulli going through this huge book that had everything categorized...

Unless it's hand-produced (including silk screened) in a numbered series, it is printed matter, not art, and should have a lower taxation rate than art.
Even a reproduction of Rembrandt is printed matter unless it is a hand-painted copy, and it should be taxed on the same basis as a black-light poster of dogs playing poker with Elvis.
Offhand that looks like 4911 91 to me.

Did they collect any money for it? If so, how much?

They nick the VAT, the magic number is just because they need it.
