Army invitation for a resident

Hi,
I have moved to Finland last July with A permit. Now I got invitation from Finnish army to join by May of 2014. Since I am not a citizen of Finland I am bit confused about the invitation. Any such experiences?

It's only for citizens. See section 2 of the Conscription Act. There must be some contact details on the invitation so you should use them to ask what's going on.

You are citizen and thats not invitation, its "come or cry and come"
Ofcourse its possible MIL had wrong info and @#$% this up but i doubt it.
According to finnish population register you are finn and so you do come in army, there is no way some foreigner could be asked in.

If you want to be part of common finnish stuff then do go in army, it isnt bad. You will not be in foreign countries, its all about defence.

Army is nice, in army i learned that most of people are retards. And i did learn that me as lappalainen are way over city boys ;D
And i learned that i cant strangle people.
