Post by md_89_ca » Mon Sep 23, 2013 6:27 am

I have a some Qs please help me!

I am Canadian citizen, and I live in Canada. I engaged with my Fiancee, and we will have married in June 2014 in Sweden.
My Fiancee is Finland citizen or Finland immigrant. I forgot right now srry guys! :P After we will marry in next year hopefully, we decide that I move to Finland from Canada.

Q1: When we will married in next year how long it takes my all the process to come to Finland? Will Finland accept me?

Q2: If Finland get me immigration can I study in Finland free cause its so important for me or I have to pay? And also, I have a Canadian diploma?

Q3: When I get Prmt residence of Finland all the benefit which People in Finland have, will be belong to me? Ex: free education, health care, government pay the house rent and the important thing paying the money for non job because I am student? :(

She told me all the benefit which she has, will be belong to me, too. I just want to be sure!:(

Thank you guys because I am so worried about these things...:(

With her status unknown, going for a residence permit as a student might give you more chance and less hassle.

With her status unknown, she and OP are going to have to do a lot more homework before this works out....

I would worry if I got engaged to someone and was not sure about what citizenship she had.

They need to do lots of different kinds of homework.

Regarding question 3: Ex: free education, health care, government pay the house rent and the important thing paying the money for non job because I am student?
Translation: How much free stuff will I get if I marry a woman I don't really know in order to get a residence permit?

Does the kokoomus means these ones with high education and Finnish hope in dark days or was that that Mr.Elop who brings Nokia more down and then sells it to his former employer? You may say it...

Cory, I was a bit shocked at the language too....

Is it possible he's a French speaking Canadian and English isn't his first language? Or are they very good at speaking English, the French speakers?

Doesn't his post make you feel so good knowing he's just interested in what he can get from the system here??? LOL. In reality he'll probably get almost nothing. If he wants all the lovely benefits he's asking after, he should go to England LOL. Best dole system in the world there, where they really do pay your rent for you LOL.

To the poster, your rent won't be paid for you. SOME OF IT might be paid. And unemployment benefits are very little here. What do you want from Finland? To come here and take and take and take? Without ever having paid a cent into the system. Worse kind of migrants this country needs. The True Finns are looking better all the time to me LOL.

If I become unemployed I have earned every cent I'd could get in unemployment because I've been here working for a long time now. And I also have earned the right that my child gets a good education, because I have and am paying into the system for the privilage.

Stupid dole wannabes p*ss me off. If you are going to come to another country, your first questions shouldn't be about what can you get from the country. They should be about how you can learn to fit in, learn the culture, language etc.

cough *bhollox* ... I've been on the dole for 3 months and get sweet f-a compared to what I'd have gotten in Finland... now I know where KELA and the TE-Keskus went to learn to fine-tune the unpayment orifice and useless courses. If I wouldn't be starting a new job next week I'd probably gone silly.

Don't listen to her. It is a bright neon sign in pitch black darkness that she is an idjit.

No idea from where people are getting this information specially these days about utopian Finnish society, and how gullible they are to believe it.

It would be also stupid to believe that Canada is like this:

My Sister lives in England.

While she works, she has friends who don't.

They get all kinds of assistance. Of course they have families with kids. I don't know if you do or not.

If you don't have a kid, go bang some woman up. Get custody of the kid and be a single Dad, then you'll probably get a sh*tload of goodies LOL.
