Chemistry Jobs in Finland?

Post by Wolframium » Thu Sep 26, 2013 6:05 pm

Hello everyone,

I am a 30 year old EU citizen from Italy. My girlfriend and I are in love with all things Finland, from the breathtaking landscapes to the vibrant, modern culture to the lovely sounding (albeit difficult!) language and even the weather (yes, unlike most people, we don't like beaches and temperatures over 30 °C), and we have been talking about relocating for some time.

I have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree cum Laude in Chemistry and I am weeks away from completing my Ph.D. and I am here to ask if anyone could suggest any businesses in Finland which could use someone with my level of education. My area of expertise is computational materials chemistry, but I'm not too picky: I'd be willing to adapt to most types of chemistry-related jobs.

Unfortunately, I can only speak a few words of finnish, but I'm a quick and motivated learner.

Thanks in advance to anyone who will offer suggestions or advice!
