Just wondering...

Here in Canada, anyone could own a corporation. All you need is a couple thousand bucks to register a corporation + a similar amount every to keep it running (for a lawyer and an accountant). Is it how this stuff works in Finland as well?
Suppose, I only want to live in Finland, but make money elsewhere. Then all I need to do to get a residence permit is to open a company - on paper - at the cost of a few $K per year.
Where am I wrong?

Re: Residence Permit for a Self-employed
All you need to have a company is indeed just a bit of cash to register it and do the paperwork.
All you need to get a residence permit through self-employement though....proof that it is a sustainable idea for a company, that you have or will have clients, that you have starting cash..etc. etc etc.
