Yet another KELA question

Hello guys!

I'm an EU national, registered at the police, accepted by Kela(I have both the Kela card and the EU health insurance card issued by Finland)the only thing is:
both the kela kortti and the EU card are valid for a year, does anybody knows if the renewal is automatic(you just get a new card)or if I have to go through the same process I went through to get them in the first place(showing all payslips and police papers etc etc)?

And another question, if I move(inside Finland-from Tampere to Helsinki) I just have to change the address details at maistraatti, right? I don't have to start the whole right of residence process again or do I?

p.s. I actually looked on the Kela website, and I searched the forum, and couldn't find anything relevant, sorry if it has already been discussed and I couldn't find it

When I moved cities I didn't do anything. Even my mail followed me without me doing anything. Well, I did end up doing the 12 month change of address at the Post Office just to be sure. I still have my KELA card from the original city I lived in. They didn't even care to change it when I went to ask them. They said it was fine. But mine didn't have any time limit on it. I need to get the EU healthcare card updated soon, as it will run out of date. Again, I never had to show anything.

The previous poster linked to the posti web service for doing address changes. You have also been in contact with Posti since you have bought the 12 month extension.

Normally the EU card is valid for 2 years and renews automatically. Here's the Finnish Kela page for the info:

This implies to me that you have only been approved for Kela for one year and not continuously. I would just call Kela and ask. Their phone numbers are listed here:

Yes you have an "end date" so you need to go through the process... Once you have a contract without end date the Kela assumes eternal perpetuity...

As far as moving goes, you can call a magic number or fill in a form you return to Posti that has tickboxes for maistraatti and posti... You will know if you didn't tick the right box when you go want something and the computer says no.

Renewal is not Auto.
They ask for your resident card to see if your A or B type and current work contract for Non EU , i guess EU gets asked for Right of Residence paper and current work contract.
