Transferring Residence Permit to New Passport

Hi,

My residence permit is valid, but passport got expired. Now that I have got new passport, what is the procedure to transfer it to the new passport. Is the procedure same as applying for the extension (ie. fill complicated forms, wait for months) or is it a bit faster and easier? Will I need to pay any fees? Which is the closest office to Helsinki where I can do that? Do I need to get appointment before I go to the office or can I directly go there?

Yes, I checked that, as you can see there's not much information about the process. I also tried to call them during the phone hours, but couldn't get success.
So I was wondering if anyone has experience of the process?

Thanks for the information. On the form (ole_kortti_en), there's section 'Information on Passport'. Is it for the new passport, or for the old passport which has been expired (and has residence permit on it). Any idea?

Expired passport is just a piece of paper, not a travel document.
