Hi,
I want to order a desktop PC from either Germany or the UK but I don't know if I need to pay any import fees when my shipment arrives. I am planning to buy it from ebay.de or ebay.co.uk. Does anyone know if there will be any import taxes I need to pay?

Theres no taxes from the Eu, but its not enough buying on ebay.uk or ebay.de - you need to check the seller is actually in the EU and not in China as usually happens.

Their address is within Uk and Germany respectively. I guess I am good to go!Pursuivant wrote:Theres no taxes from the Eu, but its not enough buying on ebay.uk or ebay.de - you need to check the seller is actually in the EU and not in China as usually happens.

Check out idealo.de and geizhals.eu as well. One specific store from which I have previously ordered some PC components is mindfactory.de. (Also: jimms.fi, multitronic.fi, verkkokauppa.com)aiat_gamer wrote:Hi,

He does not need to buy the keyboard from the same store, or from the same country. Or at all — he might already have one he can use. It’s a desktop PC, after all.roger_roger wrote:Good luck with the German keyboard :thumbsup:aiat_gamer wrote:Hi,

Not to mention you can use any language/layout on any keyboard, regardless of the legends on the keycaps. Or even create a custom layout to your personal liking, with all the special characters just where you want them, directly at your fingertips.
Aaand... who looks at the keys, anyway? ;)

I've been alright with the Nordic keyboard in two laptops I bought here, and yes there is also touch typing.
