i would like to know if a Finnish citizenship can be influenced or affected negatively based on the fact that somebody travelled abroad( outside europe ) for 1 month and half for summer holidays without informing the maistraati, and received during that same holiday period the living support by the state . can it have any impact on the citizenship application? is it a Crime?
Thanks
if not already, should be made!

anyway, perhaps it's better for you to inform the kela and pay back what you owe to them? nowadays, they have access to Kela database as you no longer need to provide kela documents to them regarding your living expenses......i don't know how they check abroad trips but they are definitely interested to know about that too.

Kela knows everything and they'll know if you've left the country. I have no idea how they know, but they do.

If you receive unemployment benefit you may be abroad as long as you like - this is a new law came into effect Jan 2012 or Jan 2013. The Employment Office or KELA can phone to you if they need to contact you - yes, the mobile phone has been invented. You are expected to answer the phone, however.
Earlier you were allowed to be abroad 3 days, with permission from Employment Office (as far as Unemp Ben is concerned).
