For Chinese

Post by lindach » Thu Oct 31, 2013 10:22 am

I am building up a website to introduce Chinese cuisines, China travel, etc., and I also noticed there's no good website for Chinese people to look for jobs in Finland, therefore I'm also providing a platform for employers looking for Chinese employees, and for Chinese or Chinese speaking job seekers looking for Chinese related jobs.

Generally for job seekers it's free to post your CV in the website (and for your privacy sake, you may also choose to display your first name only, or your surname only, or your full name; and you may also decide whether you would like to tell about your phone number or you wouldn't, as long as you give an email address for employers to contact you); for employers there's fee to post any job ad but which is quite small amount comparing with mol.fi. Further more, I may also make some web pages for Chinese companies or Chinese restaurants in Finland, for people to explorer or discover, and this comes with some fee also but quite affordable.

And here it's the main point, anyone who contacts me through this forum, would get free services for any service mentioned above. For job seekers, you may also send me your CV in one language (Chinese or English), and I will translate the other language and post it in my website in both English and Chnese, of course it's free for you.

Hope it's beneficial for all of us. Thank you for reading the topic. :)

This is one of the way to keep yourself busy but don't expect that you will make any money from the job listings. The hard truth is that it will take years to get visitors and to do that you have to spent quite an amount to advertise your website. I don't think any employer will use your services because they prefer using mol.fi for FREE-OF-CHARGE.

Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for the reply and advice. Actually my website is mainly about China travel information, the job listing part is just that I noticed there's no good website for Chinese to find jobs in Finland, therefore I decided to add this function in the website. By the way, are you use that posting job ad in mol.fi is with no charge? Once I went to TE toimisto for job, the clerk there told me it's quite expensive for companies to post job ads in mol.fi, which is about 400€ or something, and she told me some other websites for looking for jobs. Further more, I don't think there are so many companies posting job ads in mol.fi, that's why they say it isn't easy to find a job in mol.fi.

Good luck with your project. Its great initiative.

Since you are Chinese (at least a guess), I thought of asking you something. I used to eat the Chinese Crushed Red Chilly which comes in around 350g glass jar. Those crushed chillies used to be mixed with either Pork or Chicken or some kind of beans. They are generally oily and very very Hot, but best to be had with Pasta. I don't know the name of the product as it is all written in Chinese, but I remember a picture of Man in Suit in the label.

My question is, since the product comes from China, how edible do you think the meat it contains? I used to like that very much but stopped eating after I saw some videos around people eating snakes and those sort of things, I had a doubt instead of Pork or Chicken it might be some other thing like Mouse or Snake, so, I completely stopped eating that. Do you think those product contains genuine meat what's written in Label? Does government in China have some regulations regarding this and strictly warn not to sell harmful product? I guess China has some tough laws, so, my guess is may be those business person are honest at least for edible items. I'd like to know the opinion of Chinese people too.
I ain't that sure what chili sauce you are talking about, but yea there are many kinds of chili sauces in China. And if you are asking about the quality or ingredients inside the package, I would say, as long as you are staying in Europe, especially Finland, you are quite safe. Europe is quite strict in importing products, especially food stuff, I heard they usually investigate it or there's some certain process for it. So as long as the product is imported into Finland, it's quite safe. Therefore you may eat it as much as you like. Further more, if you go to some Asia shop in Tampere, they mostly have the English tag attached to the product, in which you could see the ingredients, etc. Of course it's suomi, so it's better you use some translator stuff to see what it says.

I hope this is useful for you. :)

I have not posted any ads on mol.fi but according to their website, the listing service is free. You can check it here: https://asiointi.mol.fi/vapa/tyonantajapalvelut -> copy the texts and translate it.

Wow this is funny, then that lady wasn't giving me correct information. Thank you for the link. I have changed the job ad service into free in my website already.
