Is it still possible to change the old currency to new, or is it too late?
I have a jar full of 10 pennies and 50 pennies I'd forgotten about in a cupboard.
I think I still have notes too, 100 marks and whatnot.
If I can't get them changed, I don't know what I should do with them. The notes I'll keep with my coin/notes collection. But the pennies must weigh well over one kilo.
Probably in the end the coins aren't worth that much cause I remember it was something like six marks made one euro when we were first changing over to the Euro.

Re: Changing Marks
Some time ago one other poster was looking for some old Finnish coins. He might buy some if not full jar

Thanks.
I think he wanted 1 markka coins. I have some of those, but not many. So I can't give them up.
