Hello all,
I just joined the forum. my name is Aveline, i live, in Israel. I want to study veterinary and my first choice is to do it in Finland, but I have a few questions:
- The first and most important: do i even have a chance to get excepted? How hard is it in Finland?
- What kind of grades and/or GPA do i need in my high-school diploma?
- Assuming that so far so good: what is in the entrance exams? How can I prepare?
- Are there any veterinary programs available in English?
- In Israel there is a program where a student can get a bachelor degree in biology and then continue to the veterinary faculty. Is there anything similar in Finland?
That is it for now. Obviously i have many more questions to ask, but these are the basics I need to know in order to decide what to do next.
Thanks in advance to anyone will answer,
Aveline

Re: veterinary studies in Finland
Thank you for all the links, they were very helpful.
One more question, if it's o.k: Are there any other ways (shorter or easier perhaps...) to get excepted if I am a veterinary nurse/assistant?
thanks again.

Their reasoning is simple; If you have experience it probably is easier to make the entrance exam, so you have a better chance to get in. But experience alone doesn't overrule the exam.

I see... the whole thing looks like mission impossible, but I'll try anyway...
Thanks again for the help.

I think you mean "accepted".aveline wrote:... to get excepted....
You will also need a good IELTS/TOEFL score if you want to study in English.
