Anyone from Turku?

Hi All,

I'm writing from columbus ohio looking for your help in Turku.
Basically I'm looking to buy a second hand bicycle online as a birthday gift for my boyfriend who is currently in Turku.

I have been looking online for a long time. I tried: ebay germany; ebay uk; amazon uk; huuto.net; tori.fi…
But all of those bicycles I found on those sites require "'collection in person" and cash, which I can't do remotely or ask my boyfriend to do as it's a surprise.
So I'm looking for someone who can help me to buy a bicycle (it has to be second hand), and deliver to him.
I know it's a lot to ask therefore I'm willing to pay 20 euro on top of the cost of the bicycle, or I can do you any reasonable favor from the US in exchange.
I can pay you through western union, or deposit to your US bank account. It should be available in 1 or 2 days.

Or if you have any suggestion on a gift idea that can get to him in time, please do tell. Thanks a million.

Try "Fleamarket Turku" (the link is mentioned below). There are many individual sellers on this page who are selling bicycles. You can contact them directly. One might be willing to help you as per desire.

Hi summer!

You could check out some flea markets! For example Laiskan Kirppis in Nummi sells rather old but repaired bikes. Today when I walked pass their window I saw a red men's bike for 60 euros. Then there is also two ekotori shops in turku: http://turunekotori.fi/

If you're still looking, check out this Facebook page. Evidently they sell used bikes in the Turku Student Village. Maybe you could arrange with them to deliver a bike you buy from them.
