Hi Forum,
I was told that the cost of giving birth to a child in a public hospital in Finland is about 30 € each day for the mother who has a valid Kela card, Reference (https://www.finlandforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=75108).
Is there any official website which shows these costs? I personally couldn't find anything.
So, I would really appreciate if any of you could post some links regarding this matter.
Thanks !
Cost of parturition in Finland with Kela ?

http://www.hus.fi/en/medical-care/medic ... fault.aspxDaily hospital fee is charged for all hospital days including the arrival and discharge days.
A double fee is charged for the use of a family room.

34,80 €

if you want to have confirmation that no other fee is charged, then as usual, proving something does not exist is bit hard. I'd just take the word of those who have "been there, done that (or at least been present and tried to be supportive).
For the checkup a few weeks before the estimated time of birth a another ~30€ fee also applied.
