I'm not sure there are any online retailers in finland doing pages in english - for any product at all not just groceries. The online market as a whole is too small, let alone doing pages for english speakers. With IT products the retailers often don't translate the product descriptions (since those start out in english) but for food items they are not going to translate the names of the products into english for the tiny amount of non-finnish speaking people in finland who want to order groceries online.

Finnish food retailers especially are slow to do anything. not enough competition and where else are you going to shop anyway?? things like self service checkouts have barely arrived in finland and they have been in the UK and USA for over 7 years. How long before the phrase "unexpected item in bagging area" is common in finland :D

Why do you roll your eyes?

You're living in Finland. The national languages are Swedish and Finnish.

If there is no English, well there's no English. It's not mandatory to use English.

Take it as a learning lesson and use a dictionary and the pages in Finnish, to learn Finnish. Something positive :)

And anyway, Finland is too small a country to really warrant online food shopping. The costs of its infrastructure would outweigh the profit a shop might make.
