TE e-services

Post by FirstAid » Sat Feb 01, 2014 2:43 pm

Okeeei, I just could not wait for Monday, so I used the TE e-services to register myslef as a job seeker (https://asiointi.mol.fi/asva/kirj_valin ... :443/ilmi/)
And now I am lost. Has any of you ever done that? I mean - what happens now? Is TE going to contact me and make an appointment? Are they going to determine whether I am eligible for the labour market subsidy or should i apply to kela for that now? Or was that even the right application?

When I helped a person fill the online application, at the end of the process it gave her a date by which she had to go and visit the TE. The determination was done during that visit. You can apply for Kela whenever you want, however they can't give you a decision before the statement from TE.
