There is one between the Steiner school and the lukio in Olari. It gets crowded but there's quite a bit of room there. I think you can park on Ylismäentie. Or at the school.

And isn't there one in Kauniainen? (IIRC there is a mini ski slope somewhere there)

The ski-slope may be mini. but it is pretty steep. Red, I'd say, and narrow enough to make it quite tricky for a beginner skier. So it might be a tad speedy for very little kids. Besides, the chances are they'll have it marked out with poles so the kids can slalom down it. The Olari one is OK. Or was. Long time ago now.

Go to Paloheinä instead. And there's quite a good one in Martinlaakso - down the far (west) end of Martinlaaksontie. Raappavuori/Raappavuoret.

Or you can get to Malminkartano, theres jätemäki. Just for sledding between Leppävaara and Tali theres the old landfill too (south of vermo)

Yes, Malmikartano was voted best sledding slope in HEV a couple of years ago in Helsingin Sanomat.

But for smaller kids I think Olari is fine :)

Go back up and read what the other posters have written.

They talk about the exact place you want.

I was hoping for something a bit further east, also one with a handy cafe for a post-sled natter.
