Hello,
is there something like job office in Helsinki ?
Mean, if eg. I'm looking for a job... where should I go to ask about it ?
In Poland we have... (how to explain that)... "state employment office" where anyone can go and ask for job / work
(in our example chance to find job there is... 0% ;D)
Is there something like that in Helsinki ?
Place where I can go personally and talk with anybody ?
Best Regards.

Re: job office in Helsinki
We have "unemployment office" http://www.mol.fi "te-keskus" what is probably same as your example.
http://www.mol.fi and helsinki office is in... i couldnt find address with short googling
I assume they want you to go online or stop bothering them. Heres something http://toimistot.te-palvelut.fi/uusimaa/yhteystiedot where you can "click addresses".
I dont know how much they can help you, their main "work" is to input that someone is willing to work in to the system so KELA and others can pay unemployment benefits.
I dont know if they can even help you if you are "just foreigner searching job"
Tell me your experience with them.
They do have some data about open places in http://www.mol.fi/tyopaikat/tyopaikkati ... resultList and in uusimaa http://www.mol.fi/tyopaikat/tyopaikkati ... paikka=---
Those arent all, lot of if not majority of jobs come from silent search so if you know Wojciech who knows you and there is opening and he says "Kazimierz is good" then you are hired and work was never in mol. So do "network" and get friends. In finland where word of man is trusted and appreciated good word from friend means a lot. Of course that means man is responsible of his words so be good worker or it hits your friend.

I will look for that adresses i home.
The worst thing is that I dont know any Wojciech in Finland.... I know Wojciech only in Poland... I suppose he will not be able to help me ;D
What can I do if i dont know any "Wojciech" and I'm looking for a job ?
I don't believe in job offer on online portals.
Thanks again.
