10€ is really good price and hard to beat!

there are lots of cheap salons on the main road (hameentie) between sornainen and hakaniemei station . The one I went to charged me €15 (clipper cut, does not look like he does scissors at all). It was a good haircut. he is based on the right hand side of the road when walking up from Hakanimei .. you will see a bright orange indian shop called 'Mughal' .. there is a pedestrian road on the right. Just walk into that and about 50m on the right is the barber shop. Google gives the address of the vicinity as '5 Tavastvägen, Uusimaa, Finland' but it is a few metres further up the road.

This guy now tries to get 19€ - ridiculous - he runs over your head with a mini-lawnmower for about 7 minutes. That was almost tolerable when he charged 15€ but nonsense for 19€. Gotta try the Pengerkatu place.

I tried it. It's a great place to go for a haircut. Friendly people, you don't need an appointment before going there. A good address!

I bought some trimmers a few months ago and just broke even with savings. Feels good, and it doesn't look unreasonable either. As long as you don't mind the same grade all over, obviously. I'm not brave enough to try short back 'n sides, never mind anything, um, hairier.

Very hard to get it wrong, honest. Give it a go.

Don't understand the 'break even' - the machines cost about 10-12€ - Gigantti, etc. They work.

If its the lady across the "sexipiste" , they had it for "10" when Finland had markka's... I gave up and bought a Philips and gave buzzcuts to myself, but now in Brighton its a deja-wtf... hair salons at every corner and prices from 11 to 31 and all seem to be thriving

I went to Parturi Nowruz. Today. e10, decent enough haircut.

BTW, I think they are Iranian, not Italian. The name of the place is Iranian, anyway.

But strange place - they'll take 40 mins to do a Mohawk on someone - and then do an express job on a 'normal' cut in 5 mins.

And both get charged 10€
