hello everybody !
did anybody applied for citizenship 2013 electronic ,and got a decision already . i applied in 10.2013 electronic and im still waiting .lets exchange experiance about citizenship decisions and how longs its take please .

Not in 2013 but I applied in December 2012 and got the response in April 2013 so it took about 4 months, no questions or extra documents asked by the authorities. If you applied in October 2013 you might get a response soon, I guess ...

i hope i will get the desicion soon, i called them and they told me there is a queue even for electronic application .

Of course there is a queue also for electronic applications and calling there will not speed the decision. I don't know what is your situation or what documents you have submitted but if your application is accurate you should get a fast decision. Accurate means they have everything they need for your case in order to make a decision. If something is missing or they have to get more details about you/your situation then will be some delay.

All you have to do is WAIT because calling will not speed it up ...

An average queue for properly filled applications is around 5 months right now. If your application was verified in October 2013, you might expect decision end of March 2014, give or take few weeks. If there are questions to your application, things can get extended but queues seem to get well handled and shortening since the law change in 2011.

I've applied on 30.10.2013 and visited police on 01.11. Since 30.01 my application is in käsiteltävänä state.

I have a question related to citizenship application. Is Swedish still an option for getting Finnish Citizenship? Another question is that I have been living here since Jan 2010. Since April 2011, I was on B type work permit and since then I am on A type work permit. I believe that I will be eligible for citizenship at the end of current year but I want to know if there is a way to confirm my eligibility for applying for citizenship. I have visited my home country quite a few times during this time so Is there anyway to confirm if I am eligible for citizenship or do I need to stay for some more time before applying for the citizenship?

If understand you right you've stayed here at the end of this year bit over 3.5 years on A permit and bit over year before that on B permit? You should wait a bit longer (so that A + B/2 = 5)

Passing a test in Swedish is accepted. Short trips to your home country won't change the residence period calculation, details are given on Migri page.

i have the same situation like you , my application still in käsitelttävä tilanne .
i called last time they told me in March they will make the desicion , it should be in March cuz march is the last month for us to get the desicion , but there is also posibility to get it in this week cuz they had a vocation and now they come back to work , lets see .

I need your help/instruction for my sister's application. She now fulfills all the requirements and thus going to apply online.

Could you please guide us a bit.

As I understand:

1. Get to the website and fill all the information, please point us the link to the website (sorry, I am very bad with google)
2. Book an appointment with police (bring all original documents/money)
3. Wait for the result (may come in 4-5 months)

And advice, please!

i applied electronically 22.10.2013 i have got an answer in 4.3.2014 . i got the citizenship .
