how long will my first residence permit for employment take

hi guys....
i applied for my first residence permit for employment as a nanny and had my interview on 16th january 2014 at d finnish embassy at nigeria.but its bin a while and am beginning to get worried as to;
1. what might be holding on to the decision.
2.how long more am i expect to wait and
3.in abt what month in range should i expect to hear a decision from the finnish immigration.

I don't know the answer to the question on the topic, but regarding your application I guess both the local employment office will have to ponder if we have actual need for bringing nanny from Nigeria and the immigration services are wondering if the application is for real or a scam (may I ask how much was the salary stated in the application?)

the salary was 1300euro with accomodation i guess

It can take any time between 2 months to 4 months.

Be patient to get your residence permit.
