Hello,
Can anyone recommend a lawyer in Helsinki who deals with international family law (Finland-UK) regarding child welfare/custody cases?
Thanks!
Jason

As far as I know he (Kumar) is not a member of the Finnish bar association. Maybe better stick to the official members. You can send email to him juristfinland@gmail.com call him on 0466215128.

I too was confused when I had a legal issue (cross-border). Mr Kumar's name was suggested by a friend of mine from the UK. He practised in UK as well.rinso wrote:As far as I know he (Kumar) is not a member of the Finnish bar association. In Finland lawyers are classified into two, Members of Finnish Bar and Non Members of Finnish Bar. Only members of Finnish Bar can represent you in the courts ( like Solicitors [take instructions from people and aid Barristers to appear in courts] and Barristers [represent you in court] in the UK).

Mr Kumar advised me and resolved my family law issues. That's why I suggested his name.
I had made a research on to whom I should took advice as it involved UK, Indian and Finnish law.

You are giving out wrong information about the difference between the categories and your source does not agree with what you wrote. In Finland both categories can represent you in the courts.Anieetha wrote: In Finland lawyers are classified into two, Members of Finnish Bar and Non Members of Finnish Bar.
