Hi,
some thoughts if any of these help you at all. In Finland there is vocational upper secondary education "animal attendant", in Finnish "eläintenhoitaja". It's one degree under "Maatalousalan perustutkinto" (Agriculture) and in different schools you can study either small animals (house pets etc), farm animals (cows, horses) or some other specific "area". I think finding that program in english will be hard, there is only few english program in upper secondary schools and doubt that animal attendant is one of them.. But because that is secondary education you may be able to do your studies via apprenticeship training (http://www.infopankki.fi/en/living-in-f ... enticeship). But then you would need to find place to work in english who would take you.. But almost every school that offers vocational studies can offer possibilities to study via apprenticeship training, so that could be possibility. I don't have any idea is it really possible, maybe someone else knows?

In vocational universities (universities of applied sciences) there is degree called "Agrologi", but I don't know if they offer that in English either.. I looked quickly and did not find any.

And then in Helsinki University there is Animal Science, http://www.helsinki.fi/agriculturalscie ... ience.html, but bachelor studies are only Finnish and Swedish and it's more about paper than really animals.. (And also Veterinary Medicine, but that also is only Finnish programm).

So it does not look like an easy task.. Wish you luck.
