It looks like your only option to get a residence permit is to find a job in Finland.
The chances of finding a job in your profession without good knowledge of the language are very small.
Your best chances are to make lot of contacts with potential employers on this upcoming conference and start networking from there.

There is a small cluster of healthcare device companies in Finland: Varian Medical Systems, GE Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, etc. They might need some product application specialists with no Finnish language knowledge, since their market is global. There are also some small private hospitals (e.g., Docrates) more or less for international clientele.

As Rinso said, you need to contact or do the networking with your potential employer.

It is about establishing a first (positive) contact. They have to know you before you're on their radar for a job. Most jobs in Finland go to people they already know or that are recommended by business relations.
