Hi all,
I have been accepted to study at the University of Oulu and I'm preparing documents to apply for the student resident permit. My concern is that my Aunt is sponsoring me and she has a business of her own which is doing pretty good, but the issue here is that my aunt's (i.e. my sponsor)bank statements are in the name of her business and not her own name. Therefore can I submit bank statements of my aunt's own business as proof of flow of money of my sponsor (my aunt) or do I need to show some other document?
Additionally please could you let me know what documents are acceptable to be shown as income proof in this scenario?
Thanks for your help, please reply.
Anant.

You can't. Read the instructions here:Anant1986 wrote:Hi all,

Sponsorship agreements provided by relatives, friends or employers are not acceptable.
Re: Sponsor Enquiries
As far as I have read, you need to have the money in your own account to get the permit. So just ask your Aunt to give you the money.

Re: Sponsor Enquiries
I have €14000 in my own bank account since last year. Would that suffice? I would be pursuing 2 years masters degree. Any additional suggestions?

A)
B) Read the info on migri page. (As an example, you should not have needed to ask A) if you had read it.
