strollers

Are strollers expensive to buy in Helsinki? Is an umbrella stroller for a 2 year old strong enough to use on cobblestone streets? Any stroller advice will be welcomed?

I guess more or less everything is at least bit expensive here. There isn't that much of actual cobblestones in Helsinki to push the strollers on (if we are talking about at least somewhat roundish stones). I think most would be rather uncomfortable both for the child and the person doing the pushing (assuming a for an umbrella stroller typical small wheel size), even if the stroller would be strong enough (there are stronger and less strong models). Flatter the stone, less there is to concerned about.

If you're going to stay here for longer period then you should worry more about snow than cobblestones.
