Hi,
I am a self employee EU citizen, thinking about buying a home and moving to Finland. I don't intend to search for a job, because for the time's being I am happy to
be my own boss. Can I do this, and become a Finland resident ? if yes, does it involve a lot of bureaucracy ?
thank you.

Residency is easy.
Sorting out how to pay your taxes and mandatory social security contributions in Finland is also not too complicated.

There is no problem for an eu citizen to move to reside in Finland. Though there might be a certain problem to get into social security system. It will depend mostly on how you arrange your economic activity. But generally the bureaucracy is quite lenient here. And as soon as you became resident here you pay taxes in Finland

What do you want from me?????
