Post by memon421 » Sat Jun 21, 2014 8:49 am

Can anyone help me if I can get hair loss treatment in finland. Where should I go for this type of treatment and how much it will cost me(any idea).

Thanks

Exactly, it started when I came here but they are still falling. My hairs are thin now but they were thick before. I am not willing to loose more. Please let me know if you know any place for treatment.

thx

You probably didnt understand that cors was joking about stress about moving in finland. And atleast in finland its rumored that stress makes your hair drop.

If you come from tropic and/or are darker skinned then D vitamin from sun in here may not be enough for you, there is reason why finns are white. Its linked to many diseases/problems with children of immigrants (mental deficiencies) etc. and fast googling suggest it may cause certain types of hairloss too. Change in diet and enviroment can cause that you do not get enough needed vitamins so i would suggest that youll check that.

Actually cors has written before that he thinks it's something about the Finnish water.

He becomes a werewolf at home but reverts to a cueball on returning to Finland.
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

Is he turkish? That may be lack of pizzeria! (see hairyhand, dunno if omitting last step causes loss of hair tho)

But seriously i suspect lack of some vitamins/"trace elements" (how to translate hivenaine?). Different people on different areas are evolved to use what that area has to offer so thats something i would poke first. Moving to finland means in many if not most cases drastic change in died and way lower levels of sun than one is used or adapted to. Bacteria is different too but i dont see how that can be changed. (cba to check if different bacteria on food causes more than tourist diarrhea)

I wouldnt count out water tho, it could be that there is something in water what his head cant take. That would need scientific check tho. Maybe finnish water lacks of HairyNatorForCors what his home has or has ThisIsForFinnsOnlyFYourHair. I think importing water to wash head for science is too expensive. Maybe some university could check this :D

Buy a electric shaver and go bald man.
Ladies love it when you rub your shaved head with their axe wounds :ochesey:

Ok, great discussion. But, where should I go for some test so I can confirm that there is deficiency of Vitamins. And, expert can give me suggestions. I have googled and found some products like Regaine(to regrow hair) if anyone knows about it.

thx

If i leave finland my har gets thicker and grows faster.
Two hings happen here.
1.hair becomes finer
2. water or shampoo(washing /wetting in general) breaks finer/weaker hairs.

I gave up being scientific and now slap moisturizer in my hair.
I started taking vitimin D, maybe it helped or maybe it was killing me, i took multi vitamins.

Moisturizer in the hair and dont wash hair 2 times a day seemed to slow the process.

Hi.
In addition to hair loss, you will suffer from skin cracks because of dry air.
In my case I got a terrible crack in my toe this spring (the symptoms getting worse as the year rolls on..).
I could not put my shoes on.
My nurse urged me to use the same skin grease as she used and, luckily it is getting much better now.
