Will a child with a non-Finnish given name be picked on?

May as well choose a Finnish first name and english spelled second name, then call your child whatever you want at home.

We had "swedish returnee" in yläaste and while he did have swedish given name he was picked on that he didnt do "well enough" in swedish (speaks swedish and still only 7...). Mostly non malicious teasing tho. His name was close enough to finnish name so finnish name it was except when it had to be written and as fellow students we didnt care how it was written or how it "should be pronounced". E.G. Michael == Mikael, Christian == Kristian, Alexei == Aleksi etc.
