Windshield Reparation

Hi!

Are there any specialised repairing shops for windshields and car glasses in Finland? Is it not very common?

I just have been able to find http://www.glassdrive.fi/ but there is not a shop in Joensuu, where I live...

Any idea?

PS/ I just need to repair an impact in my windshield... how much would be the cost? Can anyone give me some orientation?

Quick googling shows that there's a shop called "Kimmelux" in Joensuu. Their website says the can fix even 15cm cracks...I didn't know that was possible.

DIY !!! Go to biltema buy a windshield repair set (consists of two tubes and some plastic applicators- cost around 60 eur , but will last for a few cracks) . Success depends on the nature of a crack not on your abilities to fix it. If the crack goes through temperature change line ( lower part of the windshield subjected to active air conditioning) and is long - forget it . But most of the dealers also fix cracks (price would range from 50 to 100 EUR ) if you are that lazy.....
