Re: Urgently need a Nanny who lives in espoo
Paying by cash is illegal so this should be a big red flag for everyone.nancy83 wrote: "I'm looking for someone to help me with my small child this fall. To pick her up from the daycare which is 2mins walk to my home and to spend few hours with her in our home. Re: Urgently need a Nanny who lives in espoo
Am seriuosly surprise why this should be seen as a scam. If its against the law you simple say it & its corrected than Judge it WRONGLY that its a scam. I dare the administrators to call her Line and confirm if she aint the one who asked me to Help her advertise. I live as well in Finland & u can Check from the system Where the IP address Of my post is from. Am not part Of Those SCAMMERS outside Finland looking for people to scam.
I do have a very clean record here & a parent with a satisfied full Time professional job. The real SCAMMERS are there & you should find them.
If administrators are seeing this post KINDLY DELETE THE ADVERT since i only know how to edit stuff.

If there you had some private conversation with someone, I don't see why you reply in public. At least in this thread there is no indication that it would be a scam. Illegal though apparently. (The above mentioned law I wasn't myself actually aware of, the motivation though of course is a wish to break other much older laws.)nancy83 wrote:Am seriuosly surprise why this should be seen as a scam.

Well you can read that that way. Paying in cash is by law last resort when in old law it was norm. Its not illegal per sebetelgeuse wrote:Paying by cash is illegal so this should be a big red flag for everyone.nancy83 wrote: "I'm looking for someone to help me with my small child this fall. But that original sounds like evading taxes, even when you pay in cash you have add in book keeping receipt what employee signs and pay all needed. I doubt that would happen when "i pay cash"...
Nancy83 tell your friend that she is not hiring cousin/aunt/neighbors teen etc. to look at her kids when she go out. And no one said scam, just avoiding taxes and taking your EMPLOYEE their rightly earned rights and taking advantage of people who dont know better.
I can still go and look after my cousins and get some money out of it but if you hire someone then you hire someone.

First time to me too, i still lived in era where cash in hand was norm and enforced if needed, accounts were plus to employer.

Agreed, I wasn't pointing out the red flag with the thought that this would be a scam in the sense that the job would not exists. For me writing BY CASH in caps signaled strong likelihood that the employer is looking to skip all the employer obligations. To the OP (and friend) the government provides the service http://www.palkka.fi to help dealing with the obligations (which imho are too complex for situations like this http://www.soininvaara.fi/2013/03/20/pa ... lpommaksi/).Rip wrote:If there you had some private conversation with someone, I don't see why you reply in public. The law does not differentiate between the two cases pointed out here. Whenever there's monetary compensation, pension payments etc. should be taken care of. Of course, in practice the government hasn't made it easy enough for most people to bother when the amounts involved are small.onkko wrote: Nancy83 tell your friend that she is not hiring cousin/aunt/neighbors teen etc. to look at her kids when she go out. Re: Ad Taken out.
I do get confuse sometimes a Lot in this country with lawful or non lawful stuff. Well my friend asked me not to bother to make or Help her on Any AD anymore.
The thing is ::: Some natives are doing sooo Many Things that May seem to be wrong but who sees?
I was once living in a 3room family apartment in kivenlahti which belonged to a Finn (she was in a small student apartment) She was apparently a year Behind me in the university & "a So called close friend" by then. I lost my job that year COS i over stayed my holidays in my home country.
When i return my Land Lord (whom i thought was a friend) increased my rent from 800e to 920e. I was soooo upset. She sat Behind my laptop & made an application for me from kela online. She then asked me to go to social to pay the other part. I was sooo marvelled & upset she wanted to use me to pay her mortgage. I moved out after 3 months. I even Told the social office this Story NOTHING was done to her. They only adviced me to keep searching.
So sometimes i Dont understand what is the law & what is not the law COS some natives themselves confuse we foreigners about what is right or wrong.

Re: Ad Taken out.
In general it's possible for land lords to increase rents as long as they adhere to the Act on Residential Leases [1] (unofficial translations don't usually have the latest amendments). Under 1000 euros for a 3 room apartment does not sound unreasonable for Kivenlahti. Based on the above description, I don't see anything illegal.nancy83 wrote:I do get confuse sometimes a Lot in this country with lawful or non lawful stuff. Re: Ad Taken out.
I was told by one Of the social workers that i needed
: At least a month notice ahead before she can increase (she did that info & renewal same day she visited)
: next she Cant increase it that Much for the location & condition Of the apartment (year it was built) to that highest amount. However they Cant do ANYTHING about it.
You seem to refuse to see what is wrong. I lost my job, she Told me "kela & social will pay"
Anyway i should expect u to defend without spotting my real issue here ( she wanted to use me & my situation : simple hehehehe funny world.

Re: Ad Taken out.
Now everything is hillarious , am sorry hehehehe
I Cant Help laughing At the situation as you are explaining
A Finn increased rent JUST WHEN the foreigner lost her job & even showed her how to get all rent paid is not illegal.
A Finn who earns little as a single Mum who also Dont want to sit At home for kela's Money want a Nanny she will pay low is acting illegal. Lol

Re: Ad Taken out.
The required notice could be as high as six months if you have lived in place over a year if the lease is silent on rent increases. I assume the increase can't be justified by the terms of the contract either so yes she did not follow the law.nancy83 wrote:I was told by one Of the social workers that i needed

Yes social workers can't. They should have however given you the contact information for legal aid:nancy83 wrote: : next she Cant increase it that Much for the location & condition Of the apartment (year it was built) to that highest amount. However they Cant do ANYTHING about it.

You started your previous comment: "I do get confuse sometimes a Lot in this country with lawful or non lawful stuff". I am merely commenting on the facts and the Finnish law. Yes, from a moral perspective I don't think a friend should do something like that. However, it doesn't mean it's always illegal.nancy83 wrote: You seem to refuse to see what is wrong. You did not mention the timing of the rent increase in your post. The cut of point for reasonable rent increases (according the Finnish land lords association) is 15%.nancy83 wrote: A Finn increased rent JUST WHEN the foreigner lost her job & even showed her how to get all rent paid is not illegal.

Re: Ad Taken out.
Problem wasn't low pay. 7€/h sounds about reasonable for that kind of job, imho. But when you mentioned the cash it made people think that she wouldn't pay taxes nor pension contributions from that wage. Which are fully deductible from her taxes by the way, as is 15% of the wages.nancy83 wrote:A Finn who earns little as a single Mum who also Dont want to sit At home for kela's Money want a Nanny she will pay low is acting illegal.
