Spouse (Family ties) RP Application of a Student RP Holder

Post by GreenValley » Mon Jul 28, 2014 3:17 pm

Dear altruists,

I am a student and living in Finland for 3 years. I have student RP (B).

My wife needs to apply for her RP on the basis of Family ties.

I need some clarification regarding some points. I would highly appreciate if you could enlighten me ( may be some former applicants' spouses got their RP may share their experiences also);

1. In PK1_Plus, Page 7; (The form can be view-able from here; http://www.migri.fi/download/15223_PK1_ ... 42bd5dd188) Pay slips have been asked for current and past year. After getting married I am earning 1260 Euro/ month which is the required income (560 for me + 700 for my wife). But before getting married I was not earning that much money. I was earning something like 1000 Euro/ month. Do you think that's a problem? However, I have personal deposit of roughly 25K in my bank and I can provide all the documents related with the source of income i.e. bank statements, pay slips etc of that amount. Do you think it has any positive impact on my wife's application?

2. In the above-mentioned same form, page 7; ''Tax certificate on the most recent confirmation'' has been asked to enclose with the application. Is it the certificate which comes our home in December every year from Vero?

Kiitos avusta :)

The tax card arrives around the year change. Tax certificate on the most recent confirmed taxation is the proposal that arrives in the spring. If you made modifications, then you receive an adjusted version some time later this year (and would attach the one from tax year 2012). The document can be ordered from Vero if you don't have it (the Finnish term is verotuspäätös).
