Foreigne Citizen Living in Finland but Working in EU

Hello, everybody, I have a question to ask for your help.
A foreign citizen lives in Finland with 1-year A-type residence permit, finds a job in another EU country (also Schengen country). The job does not require him/her to stay in that country full time.

Questions are,
(1) When this residence permit expires, can he/she apply for Finnish residence permit based on employment in another country?
(2) Or he/she has to apply for residence permit in that country?
(3) Can she/he have (is allowed to have) residence permits of both these two countries (with other basis in Finland of course, although it is not necessary)?

Which country? Rules regarding the right to work varies. You can only live in one country for majority of time and that country most likely would like to have the taxes and social security payments.

1. If the reason you got your A type permit is employment, then - No (of course you can apply for it, but you will not get it)

3. One does not need two residence permits. I believe you can apply and get multiple permits , but the question of taxation should be resolved- one has to choose the main place of residence and taxation, while the other source will be considered secondary income place and taxes paid there will be appreciated while paying the taxes in the main residence area.

Indeed, you need to have a reason to live in Finland. And "want to" doesn't guarantee a residence permit.

Thanks for every answer, and your tolerance on the complication of this question.

(a) Can one live in one country based on employment in another country, of course NOT?
(b) But can one person do 2 jobs in 2 countries (if her/his jobs, in nature, is possible, such as writing, translation...; and employers allow)?
(c) If b is true, if only one residence permit, s/he pays tax to one country, right?
(d) If b is true, and if s/he gets residience permit from 2 countries, then, s/her pay tax to two countries, separately, right?

Indeed, you need to have a reason to live in Finland. And "want to" doesn't guarantee a residence permit.

The background of the wording "want to" is that s/he has another job in Finland. It means that s/he can stay in both of these 2 countries, but s/he chooses to stay in Finland but not in another country. It is not simply staying without any reason.
