Hello guys,
I took the Finnish evaluation test offered by MOL in Febuary 2014,and i am waiting to be offered a place to study Finnish,but it's been five months now and i am still waiting .i would like to know other people's experience and how long they waited before getting a place of study in Helsinki.i would very much appreciate other people's experience.Thank you very much.

Hi, I took the test last Feb, and I got my course on May 2013, so it was about 3 months waiting. Some of my classmates waited for longer than that. So it depends.
Don't worry about it too much, it will come, but if you do want it quickly, suggest you contact TE office and ask

That is indeed good idea. While I was waiting for the course, I found courses from www.ilmonet.fi, which helped a lottummansininen wrote:It depends entirely on where you live, what level you were assessed at, and what time of year it is. A friend has been waiting 7 months and lives in Vantaa which means Helsinki's queue for level 2 is at least that long. No point asking, it's summer when less courses begin and they will tell you when you need to attend. While you wait, I suggest you find your own course, ask TE for permission to attend, and pay for it yourself.

Thank you very much again tummansininen, for taking time again to write,i will explore all these opportunities,I never knew of such,i would have taken advantage of it long ago,instead of sitting down idle, waiting for mol.Yes i am a woman, and i will make use of the monikanaiset.fi site you mentioned.Thank you once again,i very much appreciate you for keeping me informed on this subject.
