how many times can fail driving theory test?

OK so the first time I failed the test because I was not observing small things enough and I understood and studied more for the test. Second time, I passes 50/50 in situational problems and failed 4 out of the 10 in general problems. When I saw the feedback, two of the answers were not what I had presses. I realized that I knew the correct answer but was focusing too much on screen and pressed b (though I wanted to press c). Even In last test (I passes all general problems), but I made 12 mistakes In situational problems and 5 mistakes were because my one hand was firsm on (a) button and I was moving my second button between b and c and thus pressed wrong buttons

Anyways, I now know that I need to keep my focus on buttons once I am sure which answer is correct. But my question is

How many times can you really fail the theory test (though I am sure won't fail this time because I did not fail because of lack of knowledge but rather confusing the buttons)
